Our client is a global leader in the development and manufacturing of innovative medical products. They are currently looking for a Service Centre Manager for their Edmonton division. This position is responsible for the management and operating tasks at the centre. This may include duties such as; pick-up, delivery and technical service to customers as required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
•          Analyze service centre and territory to help identify areas for cost reduction
•          Meet with sales force to help understand customer and territory requirements
•          Provide customers with new business models and after sales service models
•          Meet with customers to resolve issues, provide quality service and enhance service levels
•          Control day to day operations in Service Centre
•          Inventory Control and reconciliation
•          Comply with all SOX and Service Centre audit requirements
•          Work closely with Service Centres, Sales Representatives, Call Centre and Quality Assurance     
•          Coach, mentor and evaluate service staff in order to develop succession plans
•          Resolve documentation discrepancies
•          Deliver, pick up and service of our products when necessary
•          In-servicing clients on our products when necessary
•          Completion of daily reporting
•          Comply with contamination process
•          Cleaning of contaminated equipment when necessary
•          Quality control and assembly of equipment when necessary
•          Truck inspection and reporting of driving log when necessary
•          Data entry of information into system
•          Liaison with head office regarding all aspects of above responsibilities
SKILLS REQUIRED
•          Minimum 2 years experience in a managerial role
•          Excellent organizational and time management skills
•          Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
•          Ability to lead and motivate a team
•          Computer experience required
•          Experienced in Inventory Control and Asset Management
•          Committed to pursuing continued education
•          Class 5 drivers license with excellent driving record
•          Knowledge of area and main highways
•          Must be customer service oriented
•          Willing to travel distances
•          Able to work flexible hours
•          Must be able to work in a hospital environment
•          Background in field service dispatch an asset
•          Oracle experience would be an asset
